“Dear John” the love story based upon an adaptation of the novel by Nicholas Sparks knocked out the powerhouse “Avatar” at the box office over the past weekend.
Starring Channing Tatum and Amanda Seyfried, it is a love story that celebrates not only romantic love but love between a son and his father, and the love between friends all with a healthy dose of patriotism.
“Dear John” is showing at theaters throughout the country.
