10 Top Sleeper Hits Of The Past Decade

by Kevis on December 30, 2009

When a movie is made the goal is to ignite love in the hearts of the public and sell millions upon millions of movie tickets, thereby of course, guaranteeing a profit.

Many movies attempt this feat by starting out with huge budgets and oftentimes they fail miserably. For example, the biggest flop of the decade, “The Adventures of Pluto Nash”, cost $100 million to make and grossed just a paltry $4.4 million.

But there are a few amazing movies that the public embraced and loved that cost very little to make, yet these movies made millions and millions over their budget and at the same time made moviemakers reconsider the formula for a hit movie.
