Secret #1 – Blacksmithing
As a Blacksmith you can make money in a couple of ways. You can make nice fancy items such as Armor, or less exciting but more needed items such as Grinding Stones. To make a consistent and good income as a Blacksmith in WoW, focus on making expendable items (items that need replacing).
Secret #2 – Enchanting
Enchanting is a profession that when used wisely can give you a solid income. The best way to make money with Enchanting is to actually focus your efforts on disenchanting. Materials such as Shards and Dust sell well across every server.
Use your disenchanting ability to make high end materials that can be sold to other Enchanters.
Secret #3 – Engineering
As an Engineer you should aim to create items that are consumable (just like Blacksmiths). Consider making bomb’s, fireworks, and quest related items in order to get the biggest profit.
Secret #4 – Small Pet Vendors
There seems to be a small pet craze going on in WoW. You can cash in on this by collecting a range of small pets throughout Azeroth. You’ll be able to sell these in the Auction House for big financial gains later on.
Another way to cash in on small pets is by farming rare ones. Dragonhawks and Draklings are particularly lucrative.
Secret #5 – Instance Runs
There are a good number of instances in WoW that can be used to farm green items. Sell these in the Auction House or disenchant them for the materials they provide. Once you’ve reached level 70 or above you’ll be able to instances alone, you can make a lot of gold by doing this.
The 5 tips mentioned above are simple but can be very profitable if you’re willing to dedicate a little time to apply them. Always remember that if you want to be mega rich in WoW – you’ll need to be prepared to work a little for it.
