Advertising Rated R Films To Kids

by Kevis on December 3, 2009

ratingsI just read an article The New York Times did about the entertainment industry marketing innappropriate movies to chidren on tv and the Internet. I have 3 girls, ages 4, 6, and 9 and I’ve notice some of this going on with the shows they watch on tv.

Another thing I think that as happened is the rated-R shows I watched 15 years ago are now being rated PG-13. I mean I seeing a lot more blood and guts in PG-13 movies that you could only see in R-rated movies.

If you would like to see what The Fedral Trade Commission said just click here and you can see the whole series here.
