The film from 1914 which has a cameo appearance by the one and only Charlie Chaplin is at the film festival in the United States in Virginia being shown for the first time.
The film is “A Thief Catcher” – Its only a 10 minute long comedy. The film was found last fall by Paul Gierucki, a motion picture historian and preservationist. He found it in an old-fashioned trunk and purchased it for about £65.
