This is a remake of one of the most favorite classics ever, the 1981 fantasy epic Clash of the Titans. Taking into consideration the technical developments in special effects which have been made since Desmond Davis called action, or even since Ray Harryhausen created that initial stop-motion model, is actually mind-blowing. The 2010 Clash of the Titans has to be just amazing to say the very least.
The Clash of the Titans remake began development in 2002 under producer Adam Schroeder and writers John Glenn and Travis Wright. Producer Basil Iwanyk looked at the particular venture in 2006 which has a rewrite by Travis Beacham. Lawrence Kasdan and director Stephen Norrington signed on in 2007.
