After just one week at the number one spot Eclipse has been eclipsed (good riddance to bad vampires….sorry, no offense, just not a fan!)
“Despicable Me” took first place at the box office over the weekend with an estimated $60.1 million.
Another new release for the weekend “Predators” came in at the number 3 spot at $25.3 million.
And of course, “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse” had a 2nd place showing at $33.35 million. It has made $237 million in the first 12 days and is widely expected to pass up the second movie in the series, “New Moon” which grossed $296.6 million in 2009.
