Director Of “The Hobbit” Out

by Kevis on June 2, 2010

Citing repeated scheduling delays Guillermo del Toro, the director of “The Hobbit” from the continuing Lord of the Rings saga has announced that he will no longer be the director for the films. He is moving on to other commitments, however he will still be listed with a co-writer credit for the scripts.

Producer and “Lord of the Rings” trilogy writer/director/producer Peter Jackson has promised a smooth transition to the replacement director, however he has not confirmed who that might be.
