“Eat, Pray, Love” is expendable.
Not a fan of the book and seriously tired of the hype for the new movie, “Eat, Pray, Love”. Maybe I’m not the only one that is not that excited about the narcissistic love fest because despite all the hype, the Oprah shows, the slide shows of Julia Roberts again and again, “Eat, Pray, Love” missed out on the top spot at the box office over the weekend falling short by about $12 million.
“The Expendables” starring Sylvester Stallone, Bruce Willis and California’s Governor (Yes, I asked that same question, “doesn’t he have better things to do?”) Arnold Schwarzenegger came in at number 1 for the week, ending up at $35,030,000.00
“Eat, Pray, Love” did show in second place, with $23,700,000.
And last week’s number one “The Other Guys” made a third place showing at $18,000,000.
The ever-popular “Inception” was fourth, with $11,370,000.00
“Scott Pilgrim vs. the World” came in at fifth with $10,525,000.00.
