The lead role for the remake of “Footloose” played by Kevin Bacon in the original has been cast.
A newcomer named Kenny Wormald will play the lead character of Ren in his feature film debut, opposite Julianne Hough, of “Dancing with the Stars” fame playing Ariel.
Dennis Quaid will play Reverend Moore, Ariel’s father, the part formerly played by John Lithgow.
Producer Craig Zadan produced the original and is also producing the remake.
Will history repeat itself? Will we be playing 6 degrees of Kenny Wormald?
