I don't really want to pay because I think that it is very unfair of Apple to do this. I've been a faithful customer of Apple's for a very long time. I don't buy mp3s I buy iPods instead and I also buy my music from iTunes but this update has really gotten me mad. The 8GB Itouch's price has been lowered down a lot yet they still get Version 3 FREE OF CHARGE AND WE HAVE TO PAY FOR IT. I recently discovered from a friend that you can actually get Ver. 3 free and there is a tutorial video on the internet. I don't really want to do something illegal and I don't want to get charged for it or get in trouble. So I thought I could put the movie on my USB drive and do the save on a machine with enough RAM. However if the source files are moved, you get those damn red X's.
