From Hen to Victory: Buddies of assorted nationalities are ripped apart by the approaching of WW2. Cast includes George Peppard, George Hamilton, Horst Buchholz, Capucine, Sam Wanamaker, Jean-Pierre Cassel, and Annie Duperey. (100 minutes, 1979)
Follow Me Boys: Mile-high Disney corn in regards to easy associate who settles in tiny town throughout 1930s and starts Boy Scout troop, committing his life to this empowering pursuit. A little less jelly could have helped, although a minimum of it’s finished with awesome conviction. Cast includes Fred MacMurray, Vera Miles, Lillian Gish, Charlie Ruggles, Elliott Reid, and Kurt Russell. (131 minutes, 1966)
The Blair Witch Project: Three students go the Black Hills in Maryland to investigate a myth, the Blair Witch myth. The problem is that they never return. One year later, the film documenting their story is found, and the last terrifying hour is revealed.
Sodom and Gomorrah: Lavish retelling of life in biblical double cities of transgression. Hefty cast, lucid scenes of vice, gore, and the lord’s fury, make this excessively long story of old Hebrews fairly entertaining. Cast includes Stewart Granger, Wharf Angeli, Stanley Baker, Anouk Aimee, and Rossana Podesta. (154 minutes, 1963)
Bugsy: Bugsy Siegel a mobster from New York is sent to California on mob business. Once there he falls in love with Virginia Hill. On a trip to Nevada he has a vision of a casino in the desert, and bringing the Hollywood stars there. He gets the mob to support the project but the budget goes wildly out of control. With Virginia skimming mob money from the project, Bugsy finds himself in a very difficult situation.
Down by Law: The attempt by author-director Jarmusch is captivating, entertaining, and ever so tiny. It gives a peek at 3 losers who end up in prison together-and then make a crack for it. Costars Lurie and Delays additionally grant music on the soundtrack. Cast includes Tom Delays, John Lurie, Roberto Benigni, Ellen Barkin, Billie Neal, Rockets Redglare, Vemel Bagneris, and Nicoletta Braschi. (78 minutes, 1948)
