I ran over to redbox lastnight and grabed Legion because I never did get ot see it in the theaters. I have to say I liked it, maybe because I didn’t have to pay $10 or $12 for a ticket, but I really enjoyed it.
The actual Archangel Michael drops to the earth landing in Los Angeles, he then cuts off his wings, as well as raids a police arsenal to get a storage cache of automatic weapons. Faced with two LAPD officers, one of them becomes possessed and kills the other. Michael kills the possessed cop and steals the police car.
In a roadside restaurant and gas station in the center of the New Mexico wasteland. The diner’s owner, Bob Hanson, his son Jeep, the short-order cook Percy and a pregnant waitress, Charlie. In addition is a single father on his way to L.A., Kyle, an urban married couple, Howard and Sandra Anderson, and their edgy teen girl, Audrey.
Immediately after, an old lady gets there and starts behaving strange, initial by taunting the diner’s customers. The lady then attacks Howard and walks around on the ceiling, unveiling she’s possessed. Kyle tries for a takedown and kills her using a pistol that he was hiding. Afterwards, they attempt to rush an injured Howard away in Kyle’s automobile, but they are compelled to go back after passing through a swarm of flies.
Eventually Michael arrives and informs everybody that God has lost faith in the human race and will send down his angels to destroy everybody, and that Charlie’s unborn baby is actually the savior of the human race. A lot of possessed people turn up and the customers battle with them., even though one drags Howard away. Eventually Kyle, Howard, Sandra, and Percy are killed fighting the demons.
Soon after, the Archangel Gabriel arrives. When Gabriel gets to the restaurant he seriously injures Bob, and Michael gives Jeep the keys to the police car, urging them to get away. Gabriel and Michael fight, ending with Gabriel stabbing Michael through the chest with his mace. Bob lights a lighter towards the diner’s gas oven that is leaking gas, blowing up the diner, himself and the demons.
