Prince of Persia is set in medieval Persia, the tale of the daring prince which teams up with a rival princess to prevent an angry ruler from unleashing a sandstorm that may destroy the planet. And that’s why after the prince had been tricked by way of a dying Vizier to unleash the Sands of Time that ends up destroying a kingdom and transforms its people into ferocious demons. As part of his effort in order to save his own kingdom and redeem his deadly mistake, it is up to the prince and the princess to come back to the sands to the hourglass by using the Dagger of Time, that also gives him restricted control over the flow of time.
