When I think of Robin Wright I always think of “Jennie” from Forrest Gump. I loved that movie and you know that Forrest always loved Jennie.
Now there is some news about Robin Wright. Her long-time (by Hollywood standards) marriage to Sean Penn is now over. They are officially divorced. And Robin has some new projects in the works.
The first movie is a historical drama directed by Robert Redford called “The Conspirator”. She plays the part of Mary Suratt, the lone female co-conspirator that was involved in the assassination of President Abraham Lincoln. Mary Suratt was the first woman ever to be executed by the United States government when she was publicly hanged in 1865.
And she is also scheduled for a film entitled “Moneyball”, which will co-star Brad Pitt. Robin will play the ex-wife of Billy Beane, General manager of the Oakland Athletics baseball team. Billy Beane will be played by Pitt.
