Mark Ruffalo, who you may remember from mild mannered roles in “Shutter Island”, “Just Like Heaven” and the actor who is the bio-father in the new movie “The Kids Are Alright” will be playing the iconic role of Bruce Banner and his alter ego the Hulk in the Marvel comic adaptation “The Avengers”/
The news was first announced at the movies panel at Comic-Con 2010 on Saturday, July 24, 2010.
Mark will be joined by a star-studded cast including Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Chris Hemsworth and Samuel L. Jackson.
The film is scheduled to arrive in theaters in May 2012.
