The Art Of Cooking With “Julie and Julia”

by Kevis on December 19, 2009

Based upon two books, the film “Julie and Julia” is an uplifting comedy about the lives of two women. Julie Powell, a young woman who attempts to cook every recipe in Julia Child’s “Mastering the Art of French Cooking” and the legendary chef, Julia Childs.
Based on the book “Julie and Julia: 365 Days, 524 Recipes, 1Tiny Apartment Kitchen” by Julie Powell and “My Life In France” by Julia Child and Alex Prud-homme.

The surprising thing about the book “Julie and Julia” is that it is an account from the author’s life and was first chronicled on an Internet blog in 2004. The book contains many passages straight from the blog along with some comments from readers.

“Julie and Julia” is available now.
