“Green Lantern” had been developed in nineteen forty through writer Bill Finger and artist Martin Nodell. Hal Jordan presented in nineteen fifty nine, a 2nd generation test pilot, happens to be a normal guy who was presented with the power ring and battery (lantern) by way of a dying alien named Abin Sur. When Abin Sur’s spacecraft crashed on Earth, the alien used his ring to find a person to take his place as Green Lantern: somebody that was “utterly honest and born with out fear.”
The cast includes Ryan Reynolds as Hal Jordan/Green Lantern, Blake Lively as Carol Ferris, Peter Sarsgaard as Dr. Hector Hammond, Mark Strong as Sinestro, Tim Robbins as Senator Hammond, Angela Bassett as Dr. Amanda Waller, Jon Tenney as Martin H. Jordan.
