Rooney Mara will be “The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo”.
The announcement was made on Monday, ending weeks of speculation about who would land the much-coveted role.
It could make a whole career, as the lead will probably continue on in the trilogy.
However, she will have to speak with a Swedish accent. But isn’t that what actors do?
The film is due to start filming in September 2010 with a predicted release in theaters for December 2011.
