Of course, Tom Hanks is still the unmistakable voice of Woody.
And no one could ever take the place of Tim Allen as Buzz Lightyear.
But the third installment, Toy Story 3, has some new voices to add.
Michael Keaton as everybody’s favorite heartthrob and Barbie’s sweetheart, Ken.
And it should be fun to hear Whoopi Goldberg as “Stretch” a purple toy cephalopod (looks like an octopus).
And Timothy Dalton, of Bond, James Bond fame, is “Mr. Pricklepants”, a stuffed hedgehog.
Jeff Garlin, who was the voice of the captain in Wall-E, is “Buttercup” a stuffed horse with hearts for his nostrils.
Bonnie Hunt is “Dolly” a rag doll with big googly eyes.
“Trixie” a blue Tyrannosaurus Rex is played by Kristen Schaal, whose previous claim to fame is from “Flight of the Conchords”.
Wallace Shawn has played “Rex” in all three “Toy Story” movies.
And the unmistakable voice of Joan Cusack has played “Jessie” or “Jessica Jane” the yodeling cowgirl in all three movies as well.
John Ratzenberger, from “Cheers” portrays “Hamm” the pink piggie bank. John Ratzenberger has been in all three movies from the “Toy Story” franchise but he also holds the honorable distinction of having voiced a character in every single Pixar feature made to date.
And the old-timer, Don Rickles, has played “Mr. Potato Head” in every “Toy Story” movie.
“Toy Story 3″ is expected to be the last installment from the franchise. Guess that is what happens when little boys grow up and go to college.
